Can anyone supply info on fault code A310 on a KM1510

We have created this user to selectively move posts from The Copier Network to provide continuity.

A310 or C310: Scanner Carriage problem:

Home Position is not correct when powered on or at the start of copying when using the contact glass.

Possible causes (in order of likelyhood)
Poor connector terminal contact.
Defective Scanner Home-position switch.
Defective MPCB.
Defective Scanner Motor.
