KM-3530 with AK-70 finisher atachment. Kepps getting J 60's & 61's. Have replace feed shift unit, made spring on left door guide linkage both tighter and looser. has job seperator, but still dose it with this unit deatached. Seems like paper can not get around curved guide on left door , or as paper gose into main cavity then back into feed shift unit the macchine jams. any thoughts??

Hello PT,
Check the cassettes if they are not to far to the rear of the machine. It will happen if the custumer closes the drawer to fast the mechanism will shift to the rear.

have you replaced tho o/w gear and added the shim in the exit section? If not you con clean the o/w gear and scuff up the shaft it should improve it to the point that you will know if that is your problem.

I just had one last night with this. Apartently it has been an on going problem. The duplex conveying rollers on mine were glazed and the machine work after cleaning. I have my doubts if that is all that was wrong with mine. Clutch maybe? Or a burr on the paper path?

On the top of the left door there's a guide that seems to have no use. It sits above the exit and would seem to route the paper upward if employed (maybe for a mailbox option). I've found that this guide's home position won't allow it to open far enough for the paper to p*ss w/o jamming. The portion of the guide that rests on the doorframe when the guide is 'home' needs to be trimmed some (it looks like a little tab).
