View Full Version : MITA 3055- HELP!
sure!! call a tech. preferably a mita trained tech as it sounds like you have multiple problems. if you want all of that stuff fixed and copier working perfectly, put your money in a new one. the new digital mitas are great machines. your service calls will be almost nil.
good luck,

Hi. I just got a new job and now have to use their old Mita 3055. Can someone please help me out?
If we copy any more than 1 sheet at a time, the sheets get consecutively darker and nastier. This especially happens when I put a stack of papers in the feeder tray. The first comes out fine and the rest get worse as they go on.
Also, any copies made from placing a copy in the feeder tray comes out crooked, sometimes worse than others even though I put the originals in straight.
I know this is an old copier and we should buy a new one. But that is not an option. Can anyone point me in the right directon? Thank you so much!

OK to fix what you have you need to replace the drum, developer, corona wires, and dis*ssemble, clean, and replace worn parts in the paper feed convergence area. That said your money would be better spent buying a newer digital machine even if its used than to put anything into this beast!!!! :)

h*llo,
Im a tech that sees alot of people that hang onto old equipment. what a waste. the repairs that you will need do not justify the value of the unit. the way i see it is live with it or replace it. the new kyoceras digital products are great and offer the best operating cost per copy around.
oh you cant afford it? try again. contact your local kyocera dealer and get a 60 month lease quote from him. that dose not cost a dime. youll be amazed what u get for lease pricing.
good luck.
