Hey Guys,

We have a Copystar cs-5035 with a problem of holding print jobs in memory. My Tech has already went in and made sure the customer didn't accidently switch it to store to the hard drive. The baffling part is after a period of time the mchn just starts to spit out the print jobs. With no rhyme or reason. Ne suggestions to were to begin.

Thanks
Duane

I'm having the same problem with 4530, 5530, 7530, 5035, 9520 all made by KM. We even got a rep from Kyocera to come over here and try figure it out. I'm using netviewer and when it happens I get the status as off line or not connected but, I can ping it and access it via the net interface. I've never seen anything like this before, and now the HP's that we have are starting to do the same thing. If you have other printers/ copiers non KM start monitoring them also because it might be the network and not the machine. Once they find a solution for this I'll let you know.

I am having the same problem at my office. I have had a tech come out several times and re-install hard drives, firm ware, update drivers and we still have the same problem. If anyone gets an answer or solution please let me know, I'm tired of pulling my hair out.

What type of port configuration are you using and what driver? I have had the same issue, but made some changes to the PC port configuration and it works great now.
