View Full Version : kyocer KM-2530 exp lamp issues

I have a KM-2530 that I have just changed and exposure lamp in because it was flickering. I tried another inverter pcb before ordering the replacement lamp as I had a doner machine. The lamp worked for 4 days after replacement with no problems now it is back to flickering again. Any suggestions?

check for dry joints on board good luck

If you have replaced the scan lamp ( they don't flicker anyway ie on or off ! ) and the lamp driver pcb ? I would suggest the lamp loom. You probably disturbed it.............and the fauly poking around. Be carefull as full mains voltage is always on this cable.
It bends with every copy so might be cracked internally ?

It was a loose screw!!!!! Technician error, didnt refit lamp holder correctly.
