is business slow

I just started my own business in september after working with the same small business for 11 years. When I first started, I was doing real good. But now, for the last three weeks, things are real slow. Is this normal? Should I give up and find me another job with another co.? Or should I hang in there and hope for the best?
I am working on copiers, fax machines, printers, time clocks and typewriters. Yes, people still use typewriters. I work on as many typewriters as I do fax machines.

Now is the slowest time of the year for everybody that isn't in retail. It will stay this way until about mid January or so. Hang in there.

That's right! Thanksgiving thru New Year is very slow for service.
The good news is NOW is the time to plant seeds for next year. Start promoting your business by spending your down time visiting potential clients.
Also read books on marketing to help you understand methods of keeping the business coming in [ie: Guerilla Marketing ]
