    Hey there,

If your new Networkswitch is an gigabitswitch the Communication Runs faulty in Case the handshake between the Switch and the mashine Works with 1000 Mbit . The networkcard will always restart . Fix the networkspeed to 100 Mbit with another Switch or fix it over the mashine bitswitches .

sounds like the problem is the port you moved it to . is it a managed port? Why on earth would you think its the copier? The 3100 nic is built into the mfp controller pwb. did you have a short network cable and bend the rj45 female side pins? You sent the mfp in for repair ? That requires an act of god from sharp. Everything you have said makes zero sence. and this machine is auto speed negotiating meaning the Michmich thread is worthless. If you give me some intell that makes sence I can solve your issue.
