Thread: IR-1020 light prints

Hi,

this copier has a rather light print, not only the copy function but also the servicemode - printtest 4 is in the middle light grey and at the edges nearly black.
The Tonerbottles are original Canon. I have tried other paper. The counter is app. 9000.

This is the second time, I have these light prints on this machine. The first time (5 month ago) I changed the drum unit, removed the machine and cleaned the laserunit. At last I sucked away all the toner inside the developer unit. Then (after refilling) the prints were very good.

Now, the machine stopped printing and asked for toner. The customer put a new one in and the prints stay light. I have checked this : the old toner is not idled.

Is there anyone, who had troubles with the toner-transport or the developer unit ? There is a tonersensor inside the dv, should I change it ?
