I know this is a high voltage error. However, when the machine stops and kicks the code, the drum seems to have a perfect image on it. Paper comes out of the tray, just before it hits the drum, it stops and kicks the code. I don't have a troubleshooting manual, any help is appreciated.

1. scour the t/s wires with green Skotchbrite pads moistened with alcohol or, new wires, or new t/s unit.
2. destatic the transfer guide. Ignore what the book, and the green lock paint, tells you about not messing with the transfer guide. Take it off by removing the three lock-painted screws, and the little grounding spring. You have to do it to scour the transfer wire anyway. Just note the position (flush with bottom of reflector pan). And don't forget, or lose, the little grounding spring.
3. take the right access door off, paint under the two-prong, spring-loaded, high voltage safety connector with insulative paint (like "Liquid Tape")
4. you can remove all of the self-cleaning rig from the t/s unit, that comes with PM kits. Just do the scouring thing every 100K or more, especially in humid environments. It works much better than the built-on cleaning mechanisms.
These things'll get you to the root of the problem and save a lot of money.

You have a shorting transfer seperator unit or the block on the duplex door is shorting, remove the t/s unit from the machine and make a copy if you still get the code replace or insulate the terminal on the duplex door very common problem.good luck
