I have a mita 4090 with a C630 code which says broken thermistor wire but I rarely see a therminstor go bad. Can't remember if a 4090 has a thermal fuse in th fuser unit or not, thanks for any help!!

Hope this helps.
According to my book yes there is a thermistor P/N33920340.
I have seen them (rarely) wear through the plastic coating -- in turn -- causing the metal thermistor contact to ride on the fuser roller causing it to ground. This has also given me "false" open fuser, high/low fuser temp. error codes, etc. just a thought.

They have 2 inline thermostat fuses . Both have different temp levels. They are a more likely cause than the thermistor.

your thermistor is good the problem is the switch in the frame of the machine has 2 switch that switch are activated by the orange top cover of fixing unit when you put in this unit good luck
