    Bizhub 350 Scan to Email

    Ran into an unusual connectivity issue and having trouble diagnosing -

    scan to email works the 1st scan sent after powering on the copier -- after that the only info I can find in the logs is - "job deleted due to error" and sometimes "communication issue" but no details

    I have tried every possible combination of smtp, pop server, ports, authentication methods, dns hostnames, IPs, network settings etc.

    it ALWAYS works 1st shot and after that -- errors errors errors
    I once was able to make it work about 10 times in a row after disabling ipv6 but after a power cycle it went back to the same problem.

    even tried a different router. any ideas what this could be or could someone point me in the right direction to find some more informative logs or communication troubleshooting info from the machine?

    if it works the first time, means your settings are correct. But following it doesnt work means the settings might have go back to default. You might need to check on your setting to make sure its save, and not manually key in.
