    Sharp Copiers Scanning Issue


    We have about 5 or 6 Sharp copiers in our office. From time to time none of the copiers will scan to a network folder. It will come up with an error saying Network error (timeout error). After about 15 minutes everything will come back to normal and work as it should. During this time we can still print to the copiers which makes me think that it is not a network issue. We've tried to track when it happens and what is going on, but there has been no rhyme or reason to it. Has anyone else experienced this before? We are scratching our heads at the moment.

    You need to enabled it in your windows network security. Go to network and sharing center, then change advanced sharing settings, then turn on network discovery, turn on file and printer sharing and allow all connection.
