    e studio 2555c color pirnter/copier can't connect

    We have a new wonderful color copier/printer, which we enjoy, however we are constantly losing the connection to our computers. We get an error message or an offline message and then maybe 30 minutes sometimes 2 hours later it will print.
    The service tech comes and reconnects everyone and it works for a short period--like 1 hour--then we are back to errors. Can you please help us?

    First, keep it simple! When it gives you the offline message, from a command prompt, try to ping the ip address of the printer . If there is no response, start with these simple steps. Replace cable if ethernet connected. If wireless, try a different router, they overheat and drop connections. Let me know how it goes.
