Sharp AR-M207 - Poor quality print at extreme top and bottom of document

    Hi All

Copier repairman just replaced the drum and blade on our Sharp AR-M207 to fix poor quality print at the top and bottom. For verification of "fix", he copied a 8/1/2 X 11 document and offset by 1/2" and the 1/2" vertical area was all black. But my problem has returned within 100 copies. I have a scanned copy of a document (off set by 1/2") showing a "smudgy" black area at the top 2" and black thin vertical lines at the bottom 1" area, but don't know how to upload

    Any suggestions appreciated.

    Thanks
    Paul V

Hello Paul, and thanks for posting on TCN. We've just approved your post and hope someone may help.

I have attached a graphic showing the control for adding an image (yellow circle) and an attachment (green circle). If the system allows, you should be able to use these. It may NOT allow this for some classes of users (new ones in particular, because of past abusers), so if it does NOT show up or if these show up but are disabled, please post back here with that information and we'll make sure that your account is allowed to post photos and/or attachments.
