    hi all , i have a sharp SF 2014 copier that is giving me a jamming problem but it is intermittened when coping from the cassette it jams just before the fuser unit however when copies are done throgh the manual feed there are no jams at all

    any ideas please

    If ok from bypass, you are isolating the problem to the paper pickup mechanism. You don't mention condition of pickup or feed rollers. Are these worn or dirty? If you think these are ok, the paper feed roller clutch shaft can get worn smooth and cause the clutch to slip. Roughing up the clutch shaft surface can help eliminate that problem.

    thanks , the rollers look fine still , i am just a bit confused as to what you mean about roughening up the sharft by the clutch can you maybe explain abit more detail please

    While making copies 10+, apply pressure to the right side door, I seen problems with the rollers on the side door not applying enough pressure, also check these rollers

    take rollers off shaft..... use fine sand paper or scotch brite to scuff steel shaft ..clean the one way clutches with alint free towel and alcohol lube clutch with one drop of oil reassemble....by the way for the cost of these rollers just replace em....and while u are in there clean the pf clutch at the end of the shaft that drives the rollers as well
